Introduction

Data held for clients

If you engage in coaching services, you will be required to set up an account with Training Peaks for the purposes of setting up your training, planning, analysing data and providing feedback. This is your account and it is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of and consent to the data processing policy of Training Peaks.

In addition to your Training Peaks account, data may be held in the following locations:

  1. Ionos Webmail
  2. Google Drive
  3. WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger
  4. SMS messaging

When you sign up for coaching, you will be asked if you consent to these methods of data processing. Personal data held may include Special Category data as defined by GDPR, specifically data regarding your health. This data is required in order to ensure that it is safe for you to undertake a training programme, and in order to provide an appropriate programme for your needs, Heart Rate data is recorded on Training Peaks and used in evaluating your runs and fitness and may therefore be recorded in other locations as listed above. You can withdraw your consent to such processing at any time by contacting martha@runwithmartha.com. This will mean that we will be unable to continue to provide you with coaching services. When our coaching relationship comes to an end, you retain the ownership of your Training Peaks account and our access via the coaching link will end. Run With Martha will retain your data for a period of 1 year after which it will be deleted, save for the extent to which it is required to fufil a legitimate interest or legal obligation. All personal data stored is password protected and appropriate firewalls and anti-virus software protects devices on which the data is processed. Your personal data will never be shared with a 3rd party without your consent or in pursuit of a legitimate interest or legal obligation.
